A
large number of PDF documents (1000 total) containing financial
data for the past year were accidentally and permanently
deleted. These documents were very important and needed to be
reproduced for accounting auditors. Initial idea was to employ
temporary staff to manually recreate these documents from MS
Excel Macros

| Researched
and developed a Visual Basic Application that automatically
executed Excel macros and reproduced all 1000 PDF documents.
Development took 30 hours to build. Rebuild process took 15
minutes to complete reproduce all 1000 documents. |

| Eliminated
the need to hire temporary staff thus maintaining a savings of
$10,000. |
